There’s just something about music and the internet being a match made in heaven. Even if the big record labels don’t quite get it. They’ve been fighting for years the issue streaming and downloading music online. Meanwhile, sites like LISTENMUSIC.FM , just keep letting people listen to the music the love, in a way that works for them. I really believe, that streaming music is the way of the future for internet music. While downloading music has been a hot topic for years, it’s a model that rally needs improvement. What if I don’t have my iPod, or my smart phone with me, that has my entire music collection. Then, how am I supposed to be able to listen to the music I like so much. Some of my favorite music includes everything from Rock Steady to Bruce Springsteen, to Bob Marley to We Stand Alone.
Streaming music, is sort of like radio but with a massive dose of awsomeness added for good measure. You usually, don’t have to listen to DJ’s taking or commercials trying to sell you things you really don’t want. Plus, you get to set up your own play lists and artists. The more sophisticated sites will learn what music you like based on your previous selections, and play more of that kind of music for you. Sometimes, they may even find artists you’ve never heard of before. Back in the day, trying out a new artist usually meant laying down cold cash to buy an album you hope is good. I don’t know how many albums I bought that way. Sometimes I’d buy an album just based on the album cover. Surprising, how often that worked out for me. Lucky for you there are other options today.
